Nova reads the active window through Windows accessibility first, then local OCR when needed. Optional cloud vision is a last resort that requires permission; the image is processed for context and is not stored by Nova.

Can Nova work without the internet?
Yes. Local dictation and rewriting can run directly on a compatible Windows PC.
What leaves my PC when I enable Turbo?
The current audio request is sent over TLS for speech transcription. Nova retains neither the audio nor the returned text; only a usage counter is kept.
Does Nova upload screenshots by default?
No. Accessibility and local OCR are used first. Cloud vision is an optional, permission-based last resort, and the image is not stored by Nova.
Is private Organization infrastructure available automatically?
No single topology is assumed. Private deployment options are evaluated and confirmed during a Campus or Business pilot.
